Well, time to finish binding a crazy little wall hanging & watch a really good movie while drinking a tasty cup of something.  I take my inspiration where I find it & this little coffee cup hit the spot. Autumn is here!

Autumn starts today & ends Saturday (yes, THIS Saturday!) when the following weather is predicted for Boulder, Montana:  a high of 38 degrees, a low of 26 degrees with a good chance of SNOW!  I tend to be a "glass half-full" kind of person, so I'll just say that it's mighty-fine quilting weather - lol!  How are things in your "neck of the woods" ?!  love, faith.

Fine Summer's Day in Montana, 07/27/2019

Last Saturday was Frontier Days in Whitehall, Montana. We usually go for the car show, but this year the local quilt shop, Dysfunctional Quilters also had an outdoor quilt show.  What a wonderful combination!  Unfortunately, we had just arrived at the quilt show - did I mention it was outdoors?! - and the sky opened up. It rained buckets, BIG buckets. I didn't take photos of the ladies rescuing quilts, but here's my favorite car in the car show (can you guess why?!):

After the rain stopped & I bought loads of old quilt magazines (saved by a tarp), we headed south. You see a lot of interesting things along the backroads of Montana:

We headed for home & had to stop to let a wild turkey saunter across the road. I just had to ask:  Why did the turkey cross the road?  To get to the Jefferson River, of course!!  hehe  love, faith.

Memorial Day, 2019

Finally finished up my contribution to the Patriotic Quilt Show taking place in Butte, Montana on June 16, 2019. Quilt contributions will be given to veterans at a Presentation Ceremony at a new Veterans' Home opening in 2020. My little quilt comes with a BIG thank you & lots of gratitude!  love, faith.
