Good Bye Summer!

Well, it's time to let go of Summer!  As the saying goes: Hang on tightly, let go lightly ... and, so we will. But, at the very last possible moment ...  With love, faith.

Autumn is here!

Autumn starts today & ends Saturday (yes, THIS Saturday!) when the following weather is predicted for Boulder, Montana:  a high of 38 degrees, a low of 26 degrees with a good chance of SNOW!  I tend to be a "glass half-full" kind of person, so I'll just say that it's mighty-fine quilting weather - lol!  How are things in your "neck of the woods" ?!  love, faith.

P.S. In case you do want to get some Fall projects stitched up, here's a good one - Cottonwood Leaves Quilt Pattern

Stonehenge Fabrics & Clay

You know, Mug Rugs don't always have to have a Mug on them :)  Found these great Salt & Pepper Shakers at the local thrift store & just had to add them to my collection.  They were made by "Clays In Calico" in Cardwell, Montana back in 1998.  Guess what?  They've been in business since the 1950's & are still in business!  Look pretty good with these "Cottonwood Leaves" - don't ya think?

There was no convincing Angel to pose with my "Cottonwood Leaves" samples, so we did it the easy way ... that's what photo collages are for!

Happy Leaves

Do you remember Bob Ross?  He painted "Happy Trees" & showed everyone how they could do it, too.  His trees were evergreen, but if they had leaves they would look like this:
I think Bob would be proud - even though I paint with fabric :)   love, faith.
